Event Description:
The Women in Business Council is dedicated to offering education and networking opportunities for Women in Business. The Women In Business 2025 Mentorship Academy, Presented by Lickstein Plastic Surgery [https://members.pbnchamber.com/list/member/lickstein-plastic-surgery-13521] is an opportunity for women facing challenges affecting their career or business to grow personally and professionally. Each mentee is pair with a mentor who provides mentees with guidance, motivation, and encouragement on their professional and personal journeys. Our six sessions are complemented by a Kickoff, happy hours, and a Final Session. We strive to ensure that our mentees can take actionable steps with the one-on-one guidance of their mentors in order to realize their dreams. 
 
WHY?
To offer growth and support to a female businessperson.  We will:
  1. Identify career inhibitors in your life and work
  2. Create strategies to overcome the various career inhibitors
  3. Assist in developing leadership skills for advancing her career
  4. Instill confidence and provide a business support network
  5. Help you reach your full potential!
WHO can participate?
Woman member (or future member) of the PBNCC must have at least 2 of the below:
  • Woman-owned business
  • Young Professional beginning her career or business
  • Woman reentering the workforce
  • Woman wanting to advance her career
  • Woman leader working in the nonprofit sector
  • Woman working in a male-dominated field

Mentee Registration (two-step process):
  1. Register online via the event registration on the right-hand part of the screen.
  2. Submit application using the survey link in the confirmation email you receive after registering.

  • November 13th Alumni Group Mixer, sponsored by Florida Crystals
    5:30 – 7:30 PM, Location TBD

  • December 3rd Hybrid S.H.E. Seminar: ‘Goal Setting’
    8:30 – 9:30 AM, PBNCC Office 

    January 13th Virtual ‘Building Your Career Through Community Involvement’ Panel

  • February 24th  ‘Public Speaking’
    4:30 – 5:30 PM, Location TBD

  • March 24th Final Session Presentations
