Jeck, Harris Raynor & Jones and The Markarian Group are enthused to announce that on August 1, 2024 TMG’s attorneys and paralegals will join the Jeck Harris law firm.  TMG’s leader, Dave Markarian, has been a great friend of Jeck Harris for years.  The mutual respect between the two firms coalesced over many years of their attorneys working together as leaders of community organizations and as practicing professionals. The two practices’ seamless integration ideally matches both firms’ goals of continually advancing the level of service to our clients, and continuing Jeck Harris’ successful practice long into the future.  Our matching culture of the highest ethics and quality with a collegial and collaborative work ethic enhances the breadth and depth of our capacity to represent and counsel our clients at the highest levels.  The attorneys joining Jeck Harris are David Markarian, David Glickman, Juanita Solis, and Alexandra England. 
 
Dave Markarian, who will be a partner with a leadership role, will continue in his primary areas of business, probate and trust litigation; government, regulatory, public policy, land use and development law; and general business representation and strategic counseling. His career includes winning a wide variety of local, regional and national business-related litigation across the country at the trial and appellate levels with Boies Schiller & Flexner representing Fortune 500 clientele. Dave led NextEra/Florida Power & Light’s solar and wind energy litigation efforts across the country, and secured zoning, permitting and land use approvals, and served as a corporate officer with a seat on the Operating Committee. Dave also led NextEra Energy Resources’ state legal regulatory and governmental policy group with responsibility across the nation, including the company’s federal governmental affairs office on Capitol Hill, working with the White House, the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, Energy, Interior, FERC, and NERC and closely coordinated with such diverse organizations as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Business Roundtable and environmental preservationists. He has been AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell for more than three decades, reflecting his highest standards for ethics, professionalism and legal ability. Dave also served on the Board of the National Parks Trust and, since returning to Palm Beach County, his activities and interests include membership in the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, the PGA Corridor Association and Leadership Palm Beach County. He also serves as incoming Chair of the Board of Career Source, serves on the Board of Trustees of Business Political Action Committee of Palm Beach Co. (BizPac), as the Vice Chair of EC-PAC of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County and as a member of the Board of Habitat for Humanity. At the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, Dave serves as a Trustee, board member and past-Chair of the Board of Directors and as Legal Counsel on the Executive Committee.

David Glickman’s areas of practice include mediation, commercial, probate and trust litigation, administrative law, and business transactions. David focuses his practice on preventing and resolving various types of commercial and civil litigation, and assisting businesses and individuals in all aspects of corporate strategy, helping clients address challenges from the boardroom to the courtroom. David also enjoyed earlier government work in Florida's legislature, and has assisted in the representation of a variety of financial entities including investment advisers, security broker-dealers, banks and other financial institutions in regulatory investigation and administrative enforcement actions. 

Juanita Solis is experienced in business litigation and transactions, probate and trust litigation and estate planning, construction law, as well as government, regulatory and public policy matters. Juanita is active in the Florida Bar Young Lawyer’s Section, Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, Hispanic Bar Association and Florida Association of Women Lawyers. Juanita is a native of Bogota, Colombia and is fluent in Spanish.

Alexandra England is an associate in the firm’s litigation and transactions departments and distinguished her legal education by serving on the Nova Law Review.
